Thanks for visiting our Middle School website.

The Middle School Student at Second Baptist Church really know how to have a great time. We have a lot of great things going on with our Middle School Ministry. We hope that we can make you feel welcomed and excited about being apart of our group. We stay pretty active...we love to have fun and to share the gospel with others.

We like to hang out, play crazy and messy games, go camping/fishing, play paintball, go shopping, worship, witness, have lock-in's (eventhough our youth pastor can't handle staying up all night anymore...he's getting old), going out of town on trips, skiing, ice skating, mini golf, ....& that's just to mention a few things..

Here's what a week is like for our Middle School Students....

Sunday Morning.....roll out of bed after you've been yelled at 7 1/2 times to get up and get ready for church...for Middle School Boys...roll out of bed and throw some real strong deoderant on...no time for a shower..throw a hat on..no time to fix your hair...grab a pop tart and head for church....for Middle School Girls...roll out of bed, take a shower, blowdry your hair, brush it out, fix it, spray it, spray it some more, look at it in the mirror, look at it in the mirror, look at it in the mirror, spray it again, spend 30 minutes painting your face with makeup, fix some cerel, call your best-friend and see what she is wearing to church, pick out different clothes because your friend was wearing what you were going to wear...put your clothes on and head to church....You get to the youth room around 10 am....when we are really suppose to be there at 9:30 am. Middle School Boys go to Jimmy's class and the girls go to Kristi's class. Yall goof around a little bit and then you talk about girl and boy stuff....lots of fun...then you go to church and then home....4:50 pm rolls around and you decide if your going to drama practice at 5 pm or not. If it's the 3rd Sunday Night you grab a friend or two and head to the church by 5 pm to go do something fun...check out the MS-O link. If it's not the 3rd Sunday Night...you grab a friend or two and head to the fellowship hall for deepEND....lot's of fun...food, messy games, relevent disscussions....so, that's Sunday....

Wednesday night...you head to the youth room around 6 pm or 6:30 pm and play pool, video games, ping pong, or fooseball...7 pm you're jumping up and down praising Jesus with the live Worship Band, relevent talks, funny skits, powerful drama's, and sometimes a good game or two....So you have plenty of opportunity to come have fun with us while we are worshiping JESUS...See you soon.
